en expanding rapidly and are looking for an energetic, capable Customer Support Manager to join our team. The hours for this position would be from 6 a.m. PST through 3 p.m. PST (including lunch) to accommodate our large number of clients on the East Coast. A limited amount of remote work, especially for early morning hours, is possible but some presence in our Santa Clara offices is required. This is a full time contract position with the potential to hire.
The Customer Support Manager would complement the existing Account Management team by providing first response for client inquiries. He or she would answer client requests regarding our platform functionality and services logged through our Zendesk support system, investigate/reproduce issues and route them internally for subsequent processing, provide follow up to clients and help for customer support questions. Extensive interaction with our Account Management, Product Management and Development teams is required and the ability to build productive relationships across the company.
The Customer Support Manager would also be responsible for managing and administering our Zendesk support system, as well as provide limited first level customer support to some of our clients. First level customer support would include responding to end user questions and requests and processing customer refunds. He or she may also be asked to conduct high-level virtual customer training sessions from time to time.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Respond to and investigate customer inquiries
• Provide appropriate technical and/or product-related information
• Contact customers when necessary to follow-up.
• Maintain working knowledge of company products and/or services.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
We are looking for someone with the following characteristics:
•Has a high level of energy and is enthusiastic about working in a constantly evolving start-up environment. And believe me, this puppy is evolving quickly.
•Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. Seriously, minimal.
•Confidence and poise in dealing with clients and not afraid to push back when necessary
