We are currently recruiting qualified individuals into a bookkeeping/accounting position. The work will be part-time through the training period and build to the number of hours desired by the candidate commensurate with their availability and skill level
. Candidate must show the skill level necessary to efficiently and professionally work with our clients.

- Independent contractor status

- Has computer with a 3G/Cable or higher internet connection and office facilities (home office is fine)
- Has a blackberry or comparable pda with multiple e-mail identity capability - we will reimburse the data portion of their service up to $25/mo.
- Has a bachelor's degree in accounting and has worked under a CFO for at least 5 years or commensurate experience under a CPA
- Has experience with QuickBooks accounting software and is either a ProAdvisor or is willing to train for the certification within the first 3-months of joining our team.
- Must be technologically inclined - no paper pushers in this office!
We offer full training in our proprietary methods and support with Controller oversight and Controller reviewed reporting. This particular position trains under a Controller for a few days per week for about 3-4 weeks, ramps up with their first client, then is expected to work independently with daily check-ins and eventually with weekly and monthly reviews. We are server based so we have an eye in the sky capability that allows remote team monitoring without the interruption of work. I and the other team members are also highly available to offer support since we stay constantly connected via blackberry.
The company offer's room to grow into a Controller position and eventually to a Branch Director position. To begin there will be about $1,150/month in work but that will quickly increase after training as we build the new accountant's portfolio. Accountants are able to make $3,000+ part-time around here. This comes with complete freedom to dictate their own schedule, location of work, etc as long as they are able to complete the work as calendared and be available 'on-demand' for clients when urgent requests arise.
Although this is a part-time position we will not consider candidates who are performing bookkeeping or accounting services for other companies. Thank You.
