Kids v Cancer is seeking a motivated, articulate, and dynamic individual for a part-time internship. Strong work ethic, independence, and professionalism are a must. Previous experience in advocacy or with a non-profit is preferred, but not required. Intern will be responsible for scheduling meetings with congressional staff, corresponding with them on substantive matters, analyzing and organizing data pertaining to advocacy efforts, attending meetings on Capitol Hill multiple days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking non-profit, advocacy, and start-up experience.
Position is currently part-time with a minimum commitment of 15 hours a week, ready to begin immediately. Hours are flexible with some potential to work remotely. College credit is available, but must be set up between student and college/university.
