Summary:
DIY Media is seeking a talented UI/UX/Graphic designer for our fast-paced social commerce
company located in downtown Seattle. We create social commerce storefronts and interactive
advertisements for a variety of differe
nt clients. Our core product, the DIY Music Platform,
provides a social commerce platform to record labels and bands. We also provide consulting
services and custom solutions to a number of different clients.
This position will require a keen sense of aesthetics, the ability to multitask and take on multiple
projects at any given time. We do not require a college degree in this field but will base our
decision upon a well rounded portfolio. A full-time positoin is highly preferred but we would be
willing to work with a part-time position. We share a light hearted office and like to have fun
when we work.
Responsibilities:
● Designing intuitive and aesthetically pleasing designs and prototypes to suit the client's
needs
● Daily collaboration with other creatives and/or developers
● Offering a unique perspective to projects
● Ability to think creatively in order to overcome obstacles
● Ability to concept, wireframe and complete final designs
Requirements:
● A full portfolio
● Expert proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite
● Experience in typography
● Understanding of color theory and layout
● Basic coding and HTML/CSS experience
● Experience with Javascript preferred
● Enjoyment of lengthy white-board sessions
● Degree in Graphic Design or like field preferred
● Experience working with corporate clients preferred
● A passion for art, music and having fun at work!

Job Description:
A telecommunications hardware technology organization
is looking for a sharp Infographics Designer with strong Illustration experience.
In this role, you will create a series of Infographics pieces specific to the technology industry. These pieces will be shared both internally and with external partners as a guide to technology trends.
You responsibility to take complex industry trends/ideas and create easily digestible design to illustrate these topics.
The look and feel of the work is fresh, clean and modern. Nothing sterile or too corporate.
You will work hand-in-hand with a Senior Copywriter as well to ideate/integrate/execute your designs.
You must be able to work with minimal direction, work autonomously and have a strong POV of your work.
All work will be completed offsite and will require consistent communication by email and phone with our client.
