Blue Stars Admissions consulting (www.bluestarsadmissionsconsulting.com) seeks seasoned and dynamic SAT/critical reading and writing tutors for summer and fall one-on-one instruction. Blue Stars is a growing, boutique admissions consulting service. Tutors
will meet students at their home; there is also leeway to move into a remote teaching model using Skype and Google documents. Most students are located in the South Bay with some in the East Bay. There is also the possibility of working directly with students in China.
Teaching dutes will include: help with homework assignments, enrichment in critical reading and writing, SAT instruction. The SAT curriculum will be provided.

Abrakadoodle Art Education for children ages 3 to 12 years old, the #1 Nationwide Children's Art company in partnership with Crayola, is seeking high-energy and dedicated teachers for Spring programming and Summer Camps in North Austin, Round Rock, Cedar
Park, Lago Vista, Leander and surrounding areas for the the multiple award-winning Abrakadoodle Austin company! This is a PART TIME position only!! Teachers need to be available to work between 2-5pm for 1-2 hours a day for Spring classes and at least 15 hours weekly for summer camps. Job duties require own reliable transportation and willingness and flexibility to drive to class sites. Teacher pay starts at $15 a class with bonus opportunities and quick promotions possible for successful teachers. No prior art experience necessary but classroom management experience or experience working with groups of children in a camp, Sunday School, pre-school or elementary education setting strongly desired. Candidates on track for a teaching degree without classroom experience will also be considered. Training in art curriculum and time management provided to all successful candidates. Though we offer only part-time hours, this is an EXCELLENT on-the-job training experience for serious teaching career-minded professionals, due to the variety of sites and schools our teachers are exposed to.
Additional hours through weekend and evening Arty Party Birthday, Facepainting, and Event positions are possible for outgoing leaders on Abrakadoodle staff. Parties and events are mainly held on weekends. Friday evening parties available occasionally. You can conceptualize boring corporate messages into something creative that people actually enjoy consuming. Skills needed: English and writing proficiency is a must with expert level skills with Microsoft Word. PowerPoint skills are necessary. Articulate experience a very big plus. Adobe Captivate or Camtasia experience also a plus. An ability to understand complex content and apply creative treatment is important (not regurgitating existing content but synthesize that content into something digestible). You may be writing video scripts, drafting PowerPoint decks, crafting ILT materials, or hand drawing ideas to explain a concept to our design team.
