Transcriptionists wanted to work 4 hours a day or more transcribing court documents from audio media, public meetings and hearings and other types of recorded material.
You must be familiar with CourtSmart, For-the-Record, JAVS. You must have Express S
cribe and be willing to buy ProDex for indexing and Start Stop for best quality transcription software. Pay is very good if you can type correctly according to legal format.
You MUST be familiar with typing court documents including entering exhibits, creating a word index and a complete cover page, sidebars, voir dire, etc. Typing 911 calls, police interviews, hearings, motions and trials is required. References are required. Typing legal documents can be painstaking so you need patience to get through a learning curve.
The transcription will be done at your location; work is allocated over an FTP site. Please respond if you are qualified and willing to learn difficult typing projects!
